I promised a reference sheet for you to use on the test. Needing to convert it to pdf so I could print it for you, after the usual frustrations with tasks like this, I found MD2PDF, which worked like magic!
I'll be printing this counting_reference_sheet.pdf for you along with the test.
Homework
Study for the test on Wednesday. Exercises 1 through 16 in Section 3.9: Chapter Summary provide a good way to prepare for the test, along with the practice problems and additional exercises in Section 3.7: Applications to Probability that we went over in class today. Since I've made the test already, I can give you the additional suggestion to study Example 3.7.16.
