We will use class time to work on exercises from Section 2.3: Polynomial Fitting. Please make good use of this time! We need to have another test on April 8th, and we have only two more class periods between now and then.

Read and take notes on Section 2.4: Solving Recurrence Relations. Be sure to read the example exercises presented in the section, since it is by understanding these that you will be able to complete the exercises at the end of the section on your own.

We'll start class today with a short discussion of the reading assigned for homework. We will then proceed as is becoming our custom, dividing up the exercises from the end of section 2.2 and then completing them.

During class today we will do a deep dive into soluctions to the exercises from Section 2.1: Describing Sequences. Presenters will share their solutions to the exercises for which they signed up last week.

I will start the process off by sharing my notes from the section and my solutions to the first exercise.
