Overview
This week we focus on building the CPMIO library that is the
central theme of our text.
Thursday and Friday, October 30th and 31st
Classwork
Today we will discuss Chapter 13: Buffered Input/Output. Eleanor and Alex H. will present a summary of the chapter in 1A, and Noah and Donovan will present a summary in 3B.
Homework
Read Chapter 14: Tricky Techniques. Rockwell and Abi will present a summary of this chapter in 1A and Gabriel and Blu will do likewise in 3B at the beginning of our next class.
Tuesday and Wednesday, October 27th and 28th
Classwork
We will begin class with a presentation on Chapter 12: Console Input/Output which Nikita (section 1A) and Jake and Conrad (section 3B) agreed to prepare. We'll follow this immediately with a quiz on the chapter.
Wednesday is a half day for our 3B section, so we'll keep our plans to an hour and give the 1A section some catch up time.
Homework
Read Chapter 13: Buffered Input/Output with a goal toward understanding what is presented in the chapter. Prepare a page of notes in our now customary way that you can use on a quiz on this chapter.
Write, assemble and run the new version of our CPMIO library and
its testing program and be sure that you understand how it works.
I'll be looking for a pair of volunteers to present a summary of the chapter next class.
