Purpose: This career studies program provides the student with the knowledge, skills and hands-on experiences required to configure both computers and computer networks and to defend them against cyber attacks. Students suited to this program typically enjoy the nuts and bolts of computers, including taking them apart, and configuring the network devices they use to connect to the internet. The career pathways of this program lead to the hi-demand jobs of computer technicians, network administrators and cyber security professionals.
